05/03/2015 – Getting back home from Sri Lanka led us via Mumbai, so we decided to make a two nights layover there, which was the right decision. Members from Leo Club of Lokhandwala Township took care about us during this time and let us experience the real life in Mumbai.
The first day we could take part in a local activity: together with Lions they brought two sewing machines for a institution which takes care about women who where pushed into prostitution. The sewing machines will help them to produce clothes, sell them and earn some money to get back into ordinary life again.
We had a great time there, singing, dancing and joking around. Because it was holi-week, at the end the famous holi-colors were used and we could get some first insights of what will happen the next day, the last day of our journey. Attending holi!
